VMworld 2019 US Day 2 Recap: Make Your Mark

Day 2 of VMworld 2019 US was a big one! Tuesday opened with a couple of major news drops during the general session. We announced that Ray O’Farrell, VMware’s current CTO, will lead VMware’s cloud-native efforts and oversee our new Tanzu portfolio. Meanwhile, Greg Lavender, current SVP & CTO of Cloud Architecture in the Office of the CTO, will take over the CTO role.
