This video explains what VMware is running on DPUs. It is called Distributed Services Engine and allows you to offload VMware’s network virtualization product, NSX, from the host processors to the DPU. It explains how to install all the VMware software onto a host with a DPU just as simply as you do with a „regular“ host.
