VMware Aria Operations for Logs offers a simple solution to aggregate log messages from various sources within a cloud infrastructure. These sources can include both infrastructure components and applications. Typically, systems send their logs, for example, using Syslog to Aria Operations for Logs. However, it often happens that logs are stored in files or in the Windows Event Log and are not forwarded using Syslog. In such cases, the Aria Operations for Logs Agent comes into play. In this session, I will not only demonstrate how agents are installed and configured but also how to generate and analyze relevant metadata from the logs using OOTB and custom parsers.
