If you manage a VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) environment long enough, you’ll eventually run into a task that just refuses to clear. One of the more frustrating ones is the „Synchronize Inventory Versions“ task failing and permanently hanging out in a „failed“ state within the SDDC Manager UI.
